My four-night stay in Villa Limog was filled with potential but also some drawbacks. I loved the sound of the waves at night, but the location near the ferry was quite noisy in the early morning hours. The villa was basic yet adequate, though it could really benefit from some modern upgrades. The friendly staff made my stay enjoyable, and I appreciated the presence of the resident cats, which added a nice touch.

Rooms

The villa provided a lovely living space overlooking the sea and pool. however, it felt dated and could use some modernization, including Wi-Fi and a television for entertainment during the rainy days.
Service
6.0
The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful during my stay. yet I encountered a communication hiccup about breakfast hours that felt a bit unaccommodating.
Location
6.0
Being away from city life was refreshing, but the beach area near the resort wasn't the best for swimming. Although it's close to the pier, I had to venture further down the beach for better waters.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast options were pretty basic, offering simple fruit and egg dishes. While the food was okay, I found the pricing steep compared to meals elsewhere on the island.
Facilities
6.0
While the resort offered some useful facilities like room service and laundry, it would really shine with an investment in better Wi-Fi. This would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

I had a mixed experience staying at Hoyohoy Villas Resort for four nights in Villa Limog. The sound of the waves at bedtime was lovely, but the 3am and 5am ferry announcements were quite disruptive. While the villa was basic, it was adequate with a great outdoor shower. However, the rooms could use some modernization and better Wi-Fi. The friendly staff and presence of adorable cats added some charm to my stay. Overall, the potential of the resort is clear, but improvements are needed.

The villa was basic but spacious, featuring a good outdoor shower. However, modernization is necessary for a better experience.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, making my stay more pleasant despite the villa's shortcomings.
Location

The location is very close to the port terminal, but the beach was not the best for swimming, with some drainage issues nearby.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was simple and adequate, but the costs for dinner were unusually high compared to local options.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities included room service and laundry, but stronger Wi-Fi is a must for better communication, especially during rainy days.

My stay at Hoyohoy Villas Resort was a mixed bag. The location was convenient, just a stone's throw from the port, but the beach area wasn’t the best for swimming. The villa itself was basic and in need of some upgrades, yet I enjoyed the outdoor shower and the friendly staff.

I stayed in Villa Limog. It was nice hearing the waves at bedtime, but the room struggled to stay cool, barely hitting 24 degrees Celsius. Adequate for a couple but not ideal for families.
Service
5.0
While the staff was friendly and greeted me every time, the service overall wasn’t very accommodating or helpful. I felt there were missed opportunities for better hospitality.
Location

The resort is right near the port, which is handy for getting around. However, the beach area isn't ideal for swimming compared to spots further down.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was simple, including fruits and bread, but to me, it was overpriced compared to other places. The dining options weren't particularly good.
Facilities
6.0
The resort offered room service and tour assistance, which was a plus. However, I think they need to improve Wi-Fi access in the villas.

I recently spent four nights at Hoyohoy Villas Resort in Villa Limog. While I loved the sound of the waves at night, the location near the ferry was quite noisy. I found the villa basic yet adequate, but it could use some modernization. The staff was friendly, and I enjoyed my time, especially because I'm a cat lover, but without better investment, it could be so much more.

Rooms
6.0
The room was spacious with air conditioning and an outdoor shower. but it felt a bit old-fashioned. It struggled to keep cool and could certainly use some updates.
Service
6.0
Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, creating a pleasant atmosphere. though the overall service could benefit from a more accommodating and service-oriented mindset.
Location
6.0
The location is excellent for beach access and close to nature. but the beach area was not ideal for swimming, which was disappointing.
Dining

Dining options were quite basic, and I found the prices higher than elsewhere. I enjoyed the Filipino breakfast, but it didn't meet my expectations for value.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities like airport shuttle and tours were available, which was convenient. however, I wish there were stronger Wi-Fi options to enhance connectivity.

I stayed for four nights in Villa Limog, which is closest to the beach. While I enjoyed the sound of the waves at night, the beach area was lacking and I was often woken up by loud ferry announcements at early hours. The villa itself was basic but adequate, with a great outdoor shower. However, a few modern amenities like Wi-Fi and a TV would be helpful, especially during rainy days. The staff were friendly, and I appreciated the presence of cats on the hotel. With a bit of investment, this place could really shine! 🏖️🐱

Rooms

The villa was clean and comfortable, but basic. The outdoor shower was a highlight, though modern updates are needed.
Service
6.0
The staff were lovely and friendly, but they did remind us about breakfast timing, which felt a bit pushy.
Location
6.0
The location was nice and very close to the port, although noise from the ferry was disruptive early in the morning.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was simple with some fruit and basic options, but not as good as expected and seemed overpriced compared to other places.
Facilities
5.0
The resort offered basic facilities like laundry and room service, but could use more amenities for an enhanced experience.
